The
Tilleke & Gibbins Building was one of the office buildings
identified by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA)
to have met all the criteria of the BMA's "Attractive
House Front Project". Accordingly, the firm was
awarded a certificate and shield award of achievement by the
Bangkok Governor on August 2, 2000. The criteria of
the Project were: (a) clean house front, (b) neat awning,
(c) not exceeding boundaries, (d) responsibility for footpath,
(e) free of garbage, and (f) no overgrown trees. Long
before the above recognition was given, the firm's policy
of a clean and attractive environment had already been well
established.
