One-Stop
Service Center for Visas and Work Permits
Opened on July 1, 1997
The Immigration Bureau and the Department
of Employment now offer a 3-working hours One-Stop issuance of
one-year and two-year visa extensions and work permits at 3rd-5th
Floors, Krisda Plaza, 207 Rachadapisek Road, Bangkok 10310 (across
from Nikko Hotel); telephone 693-9333/-9, fax 693-9340.
The
One-Stop service may be used by the following persons (and their
spouses and children):
- An
entrepreneurial investor who has established a limited company
or registered partnership with a paid-up capital imported into
Thailand of at least Baht 2 million (or Baht 10 million for
two-year visa).
- Employees
of limited companies with paid-up capital of at least Baht 30
million or with assets according to latest audited balance sheet
of at least Baht 30 million.
- Employees
of companies granted privileges under Investment Promotion Act,
Petroleum Act, or Industrial Estate Authority Act.
- Employees
of branch offices, regional offices or representative offices.
The
applicant must be a citizen of one of the following countries:
- Canada,
United States of America
- In
Europe: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany,
Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway,
Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom
- In
Asia: Hong Kong (SAR), Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines,
Republic of China (Taiwan), Singapore
- Australia,
New Zealand
- Israel,
Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates
THE
KEY TO SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE ONE-STOP 3-WORKING HOURS ISSUANCE
OF A ONE-YEAR VISA OR TWO-YEAR VISA AND ONE-YEAR WORK PERMIT IS
SUBMISSION BY THE APPLICANT OF ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS.
