Investment in Thailand

Q.  Are there incentives for foreign investors?
A.  Yes. Various incentives are offered through responsible government agencies to attract foreign investment.

Q.  What kind of benefits are granted to foreign investors?
A.  The authorities in charge are empowered to grant a wide range of fiscal and non-fiscal incentives to qualified foreigners including but not limited to permission to own land.

Q.  Are foreigners allowed to have majority shareholding or 100% ownership of a company?
A.  Yes, if the company is in a business not reserved for Thai nationals, or it is export-oriented, or it has been promoted by a competent government agency.
